Mercedes to Debut Parking Guidance System in 2007 CL Class

Mercedes will debut a Parking Guidance System with the new 2007 Mercedes CL. The system will use radar sensors in the front and the rear bumpers of the car to measure if the parking space is large enough for the vehicle to fit in without any trouble. Once it finds a space a blue “P” symbol appears on the instrument panel and guides the driver with a highlighted birds-eye-view of the vehicle and the calculations of distances between other vehicles and objects.
