We never really mentioned anything about the BMW Z29 coupe on our site before since it was still a “mystery” but BMW has supposedly put together a prototype of the lightweight coupe. The BMW Z29 is based on the Z4 and weighs just a little over 2,500 pounds and features the same engine as the Z4 M and the M3. It does 0-62 mph in just 4.4 seconds and reaches top speeds of 168 mph. No word if this is going to be an official model. For some reason we feel it’s missing the BMW look altogether.
