BMW, Audi and Subaru have been taking jabs at each other overseas through some of their latest advertisements. It supposedly started when BMW released and advertisement stating “Congratulations to Audi for winning South African Car of the Year 2006. From the Winner of World Car of the Year 2006.” Audi then went ahead and responded to BMW following a response by Subaru jumping in on the feud. Check out the ads.

Funny ads, but the last subaru one is definately FAKE. BMW won the International Engine of the Year award. They also won so many more engine awards this year than Subaru did. BMW = 6, Subaru = 1.

Subaru won the 2.0-2.5l category for the WRX/Forester/Legacy engine. It’s definately misleading though, as BMW won the more important award for the M5 V10 engine.

No, the Subaru won for the 2.0-2.5 class. They took the top engines in each class, and came up with an overall winner. That being the BMW 5-litre V10 (M5, M6)

I congratulate them all. I won the International Bullshit Award from 1994-2006. Beat that.
