Smart ForTwo Edition Red Ends Current Edition

Daimler Chrysler today announced that the new special edition, Smart ForTwo Edition Red, will phase out the current Smart and make way for the new model in 2008. Production on the current model is slowing down as it sells out. The Smart ForTwo Edition Red has 16 inch allow wheels and 75 horsepower Brabus engine. The exterior is painted intensive red and the interior received little changes such as mp3 interface, premium audio and stitched leather seats.

GM announced today that the Onstar Turn-by-Turn Navigation will be standard on almost every Buick and Cadillac model for 2007. The option will also be available on other GM cars for an additional $100 optional package upgrade during the first year of service. After the first year of service renewal fee for the package will be $299.






Last week at Honda’s 2007 lineup event Honday gave some hints about its next hybrid vehicle. Honda will be hoping that the next hybrid will be a high-volume seller since it will have a smaller body and price lower than the current Civic Hybrid. Honda stated that the next hybrid will also have a unique body style, which could mean it won’t be a hybrid version of Honda’s current models such as the Honda Fit. It is expected to hit the market in 2009.
