2007 Honda Civic Type S Unveiled

2007 Honda Civic Type S

Honday today introduced the 3-door 2007 Honday Civic Type S, aimed at younger drivers looking for an affordable yet stylish hatchback. The car was unveiled ahead of its initial debut which was planned for the British International Motor Show in July. The 2007 Honda Civic Type S hatchback comes in a 1.8 liter i-VTEC petrol engine or a 2.2 liter diesel engine. Either way, both models push a total of 140 horsepower with their 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.8 liter is also available in an automatic transmission for those with no driving skill (just kidding).

2007 Jaguar XKR Unveiled

Jaguar today introduced the new Jaguar XKR which builds off of the successful XK that was launched in late 2005. The Jaguar XKR sports a supercharged 4.2 liter V8 engine that pushes 420 horsepower and offers six speed automatic transmission that gives it the ability to be a performance vehicle for everyday use. The Jaguar XKR does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 115mph. Gadgets in the Jaguar XKR include keyless entry, keyless engine start, touchscreen navigation and active front lighting.

2007 BMW X3 Unveiled

2007 BMW X3

BMW today unveiled the 2007 BMW X3 a slightly updated version as compared to the 2006 X3. The 2007 BMW X3 is going to get slightly changed headlights, LED taillights and an updated interior with two-tone coloring and improved throughout. The diesel power 2007 BMW X3 will push a total of 286 horsepower with its twin-turbo 3.0 liter diesel engine. The 6 cylinder 2.5 liter model will push 218 horsepower while the 6 cylinder 3.0 will push 272. Well it’s an improvement over the last year, but for some reason we just can’t get ourselves to drool over it.

Ford Unveils 2007 Lineup

Struggling Ford Motor Company today announced its 2007 lineup hoping it will give them a little boost. Ford also decided to offer its customers a little more with side curtain airbags being standard on the 2007 Ford Fusion, Five Hundred, Freestyle, Edge Expedition and the new Lincoln Navigator L. It will also offer AWD as an option on the Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ (Zephyr).

Mac Mini in a Toyota PriusJeremy Kusnetz, a system architect from Leesburg, VA has integrated his Mac mini with his Toyota Prius. With his wonderful hack job, he can now take his entire iTunes music library with him anywhere he travels. What’s even better is that Kusnetz instead of settling to use the Apple Remote to control Front Row while driving, has programmed the Toytoa Prius touchscreen to work with the computer.

Video: BMW Officially Launches the M6 Cabriolet

The other day we brought you leaked photos of the BMW M6 Cabriolet (convertible) and today BMW officially stated the specs on the beautiful ultimate driving machine. The BMW M6 Cabriolet will have a 5.0 liter V10 engine that will push 507 horsepower and will have a maximum torque of 520 Nm. It is said to reach 0-60 mph in just 4.8 seconds. The M6 Cabriolet is still set to launch in early July.

Malaysian Students Set Record For Most People in a MINI Cooper21 students from a Kuala Lampur college stuffed themselves into a 1999 lime green MINI Cooper in a total of 4 minutes. They also waited the 20 seconds that it would take for them to make it into the Guiness Book of World Records. They also claimed that they met the Guiness Book of World Records requirements that said those invovled must be over 4′11″. The previous record was set by 18 women in 2000.

Mazda Unveils Hardtop MX-5 aka Miata

Mazda today launched the retractable hardtop MX-5 Miata which will compete with the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky and Pontiac G6 convertible. There is no word on pricing or availability for the Mazda MX-5, but it is estimated that it will be in the range of $20,435 and $26,700.

Top Gear Test Drives Corvette Z06

Top Gear, and other British blokes really hate American muscle, especially the Corvettes. But when they got behind the wheel of the Corvetter Z06, they had nothing but great things to say about it. The Corvette Z06 packs a 7 liter engine that pushes out 500 horsepower and can do 0-175 mph alone on the fifth gear. Check out the video.

2007 Hummer H3 Gets More Power

GM said today that the Hummer H3 will be getting more power with a larger 3.7 liter inline 5 cylinder engine. The bump in power pushes the horsepower to 242 as well as 17 pounds-feet torque. No informations whether it will cost more or not.
