Volkswagen in America will be dropping 3 successful diesel models in 2007 after facing tough federal emission standards that take effect this fall. VW will be dropping the diesel versions of the Jetta, Golf and the Beetle since the United States has now set new limits for nitrogen oxide emissions. The VW Diesel models accounted for 22.7% of VW sales in the US. We sure hate to see them go after we fell in love with the 700 miles you get out of a Diesel Jetta.
