2006 BMW 330i Sedan

According to UK’s AutoCar magazine, BMW will start offering a start and stop feature in its cars that cuts the engine when the driver has his/her foot on the break and starts it up again when the release it. Various models including the 1, 3 and 5 Series will carry the future. Of course this feature isn’t anything new as it is found in the Honda’s Hybrid Civic. Nonetheless, BMW expects that the start and stop feature will reduce fuel consumption by 5%. Every little bit helps.
